The closest airport is Knoxville, TN (KTYS), which is a 45-minute drive to our cabin/Dollywood/Pigeon Forge. Knoxville is a 1-hour drive to the wedding venue. There are A LOT of options for cabin rentals, Airbnbs, and hotels. If you want to get a cabin, it's easiest to search using Airbnb as most rental websites also use this platform. You can search using the map function to find places near our cabin, the venue, the town, or all of the above. Once you find a cabin on Airbnb, look to see what company manages it as booking directly through their website could offer discounts. Driving in the area can be tricky as traffic can get bad on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. With that & narrow mountain roads a 15-minute drive on Google Maps could take 45 minutes. We're not sure if these are findable on airbnb, but we've stayed at one of their cabins before and they are very nice. They have a lot of rentals but some are very far from us. However, these 3 are within 3-4 minute drive to our cabin: Modern Adventure Splash (4 Bed, sleeps 10), Modern Mountain Majesty (3 Bed, sleeps 10), Cedar Hawk Springs (1 Bed, sleeps 4). You can search on their website by cabin name. They also offer a 10% military discount. When you book online you simply need to request the Hometown Heroes discount by entering coupon/promotion code “HTHTEN” discount and then be sure in the reservation notes to identify how you qualify.

Elite Shuttle Services

While we will not have transportation to or from the wedding venue, there is ample parking available. However, if you do not plan to rent a car or do not want to drive to and from the venue, this car service was recommended to us by our wedding planner. Lyft and Uber operate there, we just don't know how reliable they are.
