Question

Why wasn’t I asked to be a bridesmaid or groomsmen? Why wasn’t I asked to be a bridesmaid or groomsmen?

Answer

We have decided to maintain a small guest list and, as such, will not have a wedding party. We understand that some of our friends will be traveling to join us, and we wanted to keep things simple for everyone involved.

Question

Will you be moving to Hawaii? Will you be moving to Hawaii?

Answer

Our plan is to stay in the New York area to assist with local projects and possibly commute together if our Full-Time Bethel applications are not accepted.

Question

If I’m invited in person will I have to find my own accommodations? If I’m invited in person will I have to find my own accommodations?

Answer

We sincerely appreciate all of our guests for making the effort to join us in celebrating our wedding. You are among our closest friends, which is why we are thrilled to extend this invitation to you. We understand that attending entails certain expenses, and unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all of our out-of-town guests in one location. If we are unable to find you accommodations with a local family we have shared a guest list so you can coordinate accommodations and ride shares with one another. Under the Travel tab, you will find some nearby Airbnb options listed for your convenience. We are truly grateful for your support and love and thank you for being a part of our special day.

Question

What is the dress code? What is the dress code?

Answer

For our wedding we would appreciate for our guests to dress for the occasion. Formal beach attire would be most appropriate. As Jehovah’s Witnesses, we want to show honor to our God, Jehovah at all times. Please keep this in mind when choosing an outfit. For men feel free to wear aloha/dress shirts, pants, and dress shoes. For the ladies, dresses would be the most appropriate. ***PLEASE NO jeans, shorts, slippers, or mini dresses.***

Question

Can I bring gifts to your wedding? Can I bring gifts to your wedding?

Answer

We are truly grateful for the love and support from our cherished friends and family. If you are considering a gift for our wedding, we kindly request that you refer to our registry for monetary contributions, as we will unfortunately be unable to carry physical gifts with us on our flight home. Thank you so much for your understanding and generosity!

Question

Why did I only receive a zoom invitation? Why did I only receive a zoom invitation?

Answer

We would have loved to invite all of our friends to our wedding, but due to our circumstances, we are unable to do so. If you have received an invitation to witness our ceremony through zoom, it is because you hold a special place in our hearts, and we truly value the impact you have had in our lives. Your presence on our most special day means the world to us, and we are grateful for your love and understanding.
