The Story of How We Met We first crossed paths in March of 2018 at a restaurant called Evie’s, where his sweet and outgoing daughter, Skyler, came up to me and complimented the rings I was wearing. She asked to try them on, and to my surprise, I said yes. While she was admiring the rings, Jordan walked over to introduce himself, and from the moment we started talking, it felt like we had known each other forever—like we were long-lost best friends finally reconnecting. We spent the afternoon deep in conversation, laughing, and completely losing track of time. It was as if the universe had orchestrated our meeting. I was so caught up in the moment that I completely forgot I had given my rings to his five-year-old! The next morning, I realized and reached out to Jordan to ask if Skyler still had them. Thankfully, she did! We set up a time to meet again, and that moment turned into our first of many dates. And as they say, the rest is history.
