Gay Head Lighthouse
One of the most iconic views on the island. Stop by to tour the historic lighthouse, peruse craft stores, or to grab a bite on the cliff.
Great Rock Bight Preserve
A nice spot for a light hike and beach access. Parking is limited, but turns over frequently, so don't be discouraged if you see the "lot full" sign upon arrival.
Farm Neck Golf Club
If you're looking for a morning golf outing, Farm Neck is the place to go. It's been frequented by past presidents Clinton and Obama during the summer.
Edgartown
Edgartown is a quintessential New England whaling town. If you are looking to shop, this is your place. Strolling up and down the streets and window shopping could certainly occupy an entire day!
West Tisbury Farmer's Market
Open Saturdays 9 am - 12 pm. Shop the stands for local honey, island alpaca knits and so much more! Lots of food trucks for you to grab a bite while you browse.
Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association
1800s religious campground noted for its colorful "gingerbread" cottages & central tabernacle.

Alley's General Store
Purveyors in almost everything, Alley's General Store is the island's oldest retail business, founded in 1858. Stop in for a coffee or a souvenir.

Classic New England seafood restaurant/ bar. Great outdoor seating with views of the Harbor.

This craft brewery features a great outdoor vibe, with games, live music and a wide array of beverages.

The Granary Gallery is the oldest and largest art gallery on Martha’s Vineyard. It is a fun adventure for the entire family and an essential destination for the serious art lover. The Granary features an indoor gallery and an art-filled courtyard gallery.

Flying Horses Carousel
The Flying Horses Carousel is the oldest operating platform carousel in America. Located in Oak Bluffs, the carousel was first located in New York City before being moved to the island in the 1880s. Try your luck at getting the brass ring!
The Carnegie
The Carnegie houses the permanent exhibition Living Landmarks, which illustrates the story of Martha’s Vineyard through the lens of the 20 landmarks in Vineyard Trust’s care.
State Beach
The Nantucket Sound shoreline of State Beach is a very popular beach for families because there is a gradual slope into deeper water and the waves are usually small. On a hot summer day, parking places along the paved parking lane adjacent to the road are mostly full by 10am.
