Jon and I initially met at work in 2015 but we never really spoke to one another. I was freshly out of training in Parking and Jon walked into the traffic office looking for keys. It was a fast exchange with few words. Fast forward a couple years, Jon had to train me for a new position while my current trainer was off for the day. While working together, he was a man of few words and it was totally awkward. In order to break the ice, I ended up showing him a "pimple popping" video and it made him laugh! We both exchanged numbers but never thought much about it other than being friends/coworkers. We definitely liked each other at some point and hung out often but never mentioned how we felt. Our good friends Kristi and Matt set us up and the rest is history! SHOUTOUT TO MATT AND KRISTI! <3

Jon and I went to Las Vegas for my birthday in August 2020. We had plenty of conversations about marriage but always decided we would wait a couple years (little did I know that he had the ring for months). Jon and I had fantastic dinner at Hell’s Kitchen then we went back to our hotel room to freshen up. Jon said he wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower but I said I wanted to go to the High Roller Ferris wheel. (Happy wife, happy life, wink) Jon was pacing in the small cabin and I wanted to take a cute couple picture. I remember Jon asking someone to take our picture and then he got down on one knee.. and whispered the most loving words. I ugly cried for awhile! I did not realize what was going on until I saw the beautiful ring. I don’t remember saying yes, all I said was “did you ask my dad?!”.
