Sarah’s best friend from University of Illinois / Chi Omega sorority since 2011. Countless years as roommates in Champaign and then in Chicago together. Some may have referred to them as partners in crime but they will neither confirm or deny those allegations. "Dr. Jess" is currently a children's speech pathologist here in the city.

Sarah’s sister in law (her brother Matt’s wife) and best friend. Nichole is the life of any party and makes everyone feel so loved and included. She's also the mother of Sarah & Joe's first niece so she gets extra brownie points for that.
Amy Whiting

Sarah’s brother John's girlfriend and hopefully soon to be sister in law! Amy is the perfect addition to the Rave family and makes us all laugh. Amy is an avid cider drinker so don't even think about offering her a beer at the wedding.

Mel is one of Sarah's best friends from University of Illinois / Chi Omega sorority. Mel is one of the smartest people we know and works on a team at SC Johnson to create cleaning products (no big deal).

Erica or "Chilly" as everyone calls her, is one of Sarah best friend's from University of Illinois / Chi Omega sorority. Chilly currently lives in Columbus, OH but continues to make Sarah laugh every day. She also gives fabulous recipe recommendations so be sure to ask her about that.

Alex is Sarah’s pseudo “little sister." Their moms are best friends so Alex and Sarah have grown up together. Alex is a fellow CCHS and University of Illinois alum. Alex is the first person Sarah texts or calls for advice, gossip, or most importantly, to discuss the latest Bachelor drama.

Co-workers at Allstate told us we should be best friends and they were right. Roommates for 3 years in Chicago and big fantasy football rivals. Ask him about why he doesn't have a smooth Chicago accent and all things Baylor University.

One of Sarah's brothers, played baseball at Carthage and lives in Bloomington. He has completely opened up Joe's eyes to the world of hunting and Busch Light. Don't knock it until you try it.

Sarah’s youngest brother, played baseball at Illinois State and is currently playing minor league ball for the Royals. Hoping the White Sox make a trade for him soon. Joe has forced him to try over 100 different craft beers and hopes it's growing on him.

Best friends from DePaul University and met in the same SAE pledge class. Joe even knew him when he had hair. So many great times in Chicago. He's the life of the party and can make great conversation with anyone. Currently leading the way to help with Joe's golf swing.

An O.G., have been best friends since 2nd grade in Grayslake. Played a lot of baseball growing up together and have maintained a close friendship in Chicago. Has supreme taste in music and they've attended a huge range of concerts together - Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jack White, Jason Isbell, Kendrick Lamar, and many more.

Best friends from DePaul and Joe's second (but equally loved) "little brother" from the SAE fraternity days. Lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan which is a very fitting destination with the nickname "Beer City." Let him know if you have any legal trouble.

Peter aka "tall guy" is one of Joe's best friends and from his hometown of Grayslake. Lived together for a year outside of D.C. Some would call their time as roommates an extension of college, but they would call it a time of personal and professional growth.

Best friends from DePaul University and met through the fraternity. The "flying Hawaiian." Anthony is a very smooth guy, he gets a haircut every two weeks so expect a fresh one come wedding day. Joe and him have had so many fun memories in Chicago together.

Best friends from DePaul University and met through the fraternity. Essentially were weekend roommates Joe's first year out of college when he lived at home. Salt of the earth guy and we believe believe it's because people from central Illinois are nicer than city folk.
