Sarah and Jesse's story began in 2014 at a Red Rocks concert, where they instantly clicked and became close friends. When Sarah's lease ended, they decided to move in together as roommates. Over time, Jesse started dropping hints that he was interested in more than just friendship, but Sarah wasn't so sure- dating a roommate didn't seem like the best idea. Still, Jesse was patient, and eventually, they decided to go on their first date. In May 2015, they had their first official date- brunch at snooze followed by a stroll through the Denver Botanical Gardens. The timing wasn't perfect, though. A month later, Sarah moved back to Wisconsin for six months while searching for work, and the two found themselves in a long- distance relationship. They visited each other often, and in August 2015, at a music festival in Telluride CO, they made things official. Two days later, while recovering from the festival back at Jesse's house, he made Sarah the perfect cup of coffee- the ideal balance of coffee and cream. In that moment, she knew she was in love. By December 2015 Sarah moved back in Colorado and back in with Jesse. Over the years, they built a life together- bringing home two amazing dogs, sharing countless adventures, and growing side by side. Seven years later, on a beach in Mexico, Jesse asked Sarah to marry him. Not long after, they welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world. On June 21st, 2025, we tied the knot in a small ceremony filled with love, happy tears, and a lot of cake. Now that we've made it official, we are throwing a big celebration to share the joy with our favorite people- you!
