Covid Protocols

If your joining us in person this is how we plan to keep everyone safe and healthy!

No touch points

To avoid germ transfer

Favours will be placed on each chair ahead of the ceremony to avoid everyone taking them from the same place and potentially transferring germs. Instead of a traditional guestbook, to avoid everyone from touching the same pen/marker/what-have-you, we have opted for a polaroid guestbook. Instead of everyone touching the cameras, our lovely groomsmen, Jamie and Sean will be taking 2 photos of your group upon arrival to the tent, one for us to put in our guestbook, and one for you to keep as a keepsake for the day! Bride + Groom, witnesses, and officiant will have separate pens for each to sign the marriage documents.

Hand Sanitizer

To avoid germ transfer

We will have hand sanitizer available on the welcome table before entering the tent that we encourage all guests to use. There will be hand sanitizer on the signing table as well for bride + groom, witnesses and officiant to use before touching the same document to avoid transferring germs.

Physical Distance

Keep your distance

We have created a seating chart for the ceremony, even though it's a little untraditional. This way we're able to ensure that the chairs for each household grouping are a safe distance from those around them. Upon arrival to the tent, our Men of Honour and Best Man, Tyler, Noah and Keith will show you to your seats. We will be doing a "receiving line" to make sure we get a chance to see everyone after the ceremony. We will be standing 6 feet back from the brick path for this. Please stay on the brick path during your hellos to ensure proper distance.

Masks

If you want!

Given that this is an outdoor event, masks are not mandatory. Of course, you are welcome to wear one if you choose. Given the outdoor nature of the event, and everyone keeping their distance from each other, we do feel we can be safe without wearing them. If you are uncomfortable with knowing that others may not be wearing masks, we completely understand if you would feel safer watching the live stream from home. Please let one of us know if you need help finding the link to watch.

Guestlist

Keep the numbers low!

Despite the provincial guidelines allowing outdoor events as high as 100 people, we have decided to keep our group under 30 to keep exposure low and to ensure everyone has enough room to keep their distance with ease.

Wellness

Last but definitley not least

Last but definitely not least, we ask that all guests and vendors who are feeling under the weather or are feeling any symptoms please please stay home. You will be missed, but we have everyone's safety in mind. Hopefully these steps we have taken make you feel safe to celebrate with us, however we do understand if you chose to stay home. All we ask is that you please let us know so that we do not wait for you to begin the ceremony.

For all the days along the way
