Destination Wedding? Really?

Answer

We get it! A destination wedding has always been our dream and we can't imagine celebrating our marriage any other way. So if you can make it, we're beyond grateful and can't wait to celebrate with you! if you can't, we completely understand why! We promise, no hard feelings!

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you will need a passport in order to travel to Jamaica. Please allow enough time for if you are applying for a new passport or for passport renewals. It could take up to 10 - 12 weeks to receive your passport after your application has been submitted. Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the intended date of travel. Please apply or re-new your passport as soon as possible!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The final deadline for booking has passed! Rooms at our room block rate are now subject to availability. If you are interested in booking in our room block, please reach out to Terri at Liberty Travel at: Br9508@libertytravel.com or 516-213-9546.

What day should we arrive?

Answer

Our room block rates are available from Tuesday, April 26th - Tuesday May 3rd. Please plan to arrive by Thursday April 28th, so you do not miss out on the festivities. Feel free to stay as long as you would like!

How do I get to the Grand Palladium from the airport?

Answer

On our booking website, there is an option for you to select roundtrip transportation for $26/person. We recommend adding airport transfers upon registration, however they do not need to be paid until your final payment date. You can register for roundtrip airport transportation through Liberty Travel before your flight is booked.

Question

Do I need to be tested prior to arriving in Jamaica.

Answer

Yes, all guests must test within 3 days of the travel date. For further information on testing requirements, please visit: https://www.visitjamaica.com/travelauthorization/test-req/. You will also need to take a test before returning to the US. Testing is available at the resort. When you check-in, the hotel will schedule your departure test.

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

As of right now, you do not need to be vaccinated to enter Jamaica.

What is the difference between the Jamaica and Lady Hamilton sides of the Grand Palladium?

Answer

Check out the different room options on the Travel page. Guests of both sides are able to use all of the amenities offered, including beaches, pools, and restaurants!

What is included with 'all-inclusive'?

Answer

Breakfast and lunch in one of the 3 buffet style restaurants. Dinner in the buffet or in one of the 5 specialty restaurants. Unlimited snacks 24 hours at the Beach Bar or the Sports Bar. Unlimited local and international drinks with or without alcohol served in the 13 bars of the complex. Towels and chairs for beach and the 5 swimming pools. Watersports at the beach.

What is the weather like in Jamaica in April?

The average high is 86 degrees, with the low being 72 degrees.

What should I pack?

Answer

With 4 beaches and 5 pools, be sure to pack a bathing suit and sunscreen! Breakfast and lunch are casual at the resort, but all bathing suits must be accompanied by a cover up. For Dinner: For gentlemen, shirts or T-shirts with sleeves and long pants or formal bermuda shorts are required in all a la carte restaurants. For ladies, sun dresses, white capris, and similar attire is suggested.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

We're asking that everyone dresses in semi-formal beach attire. Think- linen pants, formal shorts and short sleeve button ups for men. Sundresses and breezy maxi-dresses for women. The wedding will be held outside, so please dress comfortably for the heat. While shoes are optional for the beach ceremony, please bring your best dancing shoes for the reception.

Do I need to stay at the Grand Palladium?

Answer

All wedding events will be taking place at The Grand Palladium, which is also where the happy couple will be staying. We highly recommend you stay at the resort and book a room through our room block. If you choose to stay elsewhere, there will be a $128 event pass fee that you will have to pay upon arrival and you will only be able to arrive 1 hour before the ceremony and will have to leave once the reception is over.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a welcome party on Thursday, April 28th with cocktails and appetizers! We are also planning an optional catamaran cruise for Sunday, May 1st. Details TBD. Otherwise, we hope you will enjoy this time as a vacation for yourself as well!

Will Zoey be attending the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately Zoey will not be attending. She is bummed about missing out on the buffets, but she is looking forward to seeing pictures. Also, if anyone has any dog sitter suggestions, please send our way.
