We're Finally Getting Married!

In August 2013, Sarah decided to move back to Halifax to start a Masters program. The night she arrived, she went to Lower Deck for Signal Hill on the patio. Her roommate wanted to catch up with some friends on the SMU Men's Hockey Team. She introduced Sarah to Michael D'Orazio and Jamie Doornbosch, and she was immediately drawn to Jamie's personality (and the fact that he is incredibly good looking of course). At the end of the night they all went their separate ways, but when Sarah woke up the next morning to a new friend request on Facebook, she knew there was something special about this Jamie Doornbosch!

Jamie wanted to take Sarah to her parent's property on the Ottawa River as Deep River is such a special place for them. After getting her sister Rachael to help him pull off the proposal, Jamie got down on one knee and popped the question. It was the easiest "yes" of Sarah's life!
