How We Met

We met in Twisp, Washington when we both got invited to spend the weekend with our mutual friend Morgan Olson. We both knew of eachother from hearing stories from Morgan over the years, but we had not met until November 23, 2018. Over the weekend we drove up to Diablo Lake, played games, ate at a pizza place, and got coffee at the best coffee place in Twisp; you could say we just “clicked.” After that weekend we got eachothers numbers and from then on talked 24/7. Come early December Jace made his first trip to Cle Elum to spend the day with me where I introduced him to my parents and all my friends. Over the next few weeks, we spent the weekends traveling to eachothers houses, and come January 5th, Jace asked me to be official with him.

The Proposal

On September 13th, Jace brought his parents to stay the weekend, and Morgan too was in town. We enjoyed dinner at The Winery in Suncadia and after, Jace’s parents wanted to “go see the lakes in Cle Elum,” so we went to a secret path at Lake Cle Elum. This is when I knew what was about to happen. The path was lined with framed pictures of me and Jace over the last 10 months and lit candles that led to the beach where Jace told me he couldn’t imagine spending his life with anyone else and asked me to marry him. After, we went to a small engagement party with all my friends. It all was perfect! We cannot wait to get married infront of all our friends and family and begin our forever come February 22nd!
