Kubel's
Kubel's is our favorite place to eat on the island. It's open daily and year round. They offer really good food, AND have the best Bloody Mary on the Island!
Bay Village/Schooners Wharf
THE spot for all of your shopping needs. Cute boutiques, a book swap, and Ship Bottom Brewery. One of our favorite shops is the YuleTide, a store all things Christmas!
Viking Village
A small and historic village with a tiny How You Brewin, a fresh produce market, and a few boutiques with LBI and coastal merchandise. Plus you can watch the fishing boats come in with fresh seafood that supplies the restaurants on the island!
Miss Barnegat Light
Our first official date was dinner and a sunset cruise on Miss Barnegat Light! While she may not be sailing a sunset cruise in the off season, she still goes out for Striped Bass day fishing trips, or Canyon Tuna trips! We recommend calling to inquire to be sure they are running!
Barnegat Lighthouse State Park
Please check out the lighthouse if you have time! You can walk up to the top of the lighthouse, or walk the jetty to get your fix of the ocean. It is the iconic landmark of LBI, and one of New Jersey's state parks. Admission is free, and dress in layers, sometimes it gets windy!
Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge — Holgate Beach Wilderness
The southern most part of LBI. The views here are AMAZING. Enjoy a sunset or a walk on the beach. Something unique about this location is that they are also a Wildlife Conservation. You can see birds of all kinds at different times of the year.
The Cheese Shoppe
This is Sarah's ultimate favorite store on LBI. They have gourmet pastas, spices, and of course homemade CHEESE!
