Take a stroll around grounds where we both attended college and first met! Spring is a lovely time of year at UVA.
Guests staying at Farmington can enjoy a round of golf at our wedding reception venue and enjoy the beautiful views!
We'd be remiss not to include the beautiful Pippin Hill, which is a vineyard located in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, as this is where our relationship started! We re-met at a wedding at Pippin Hill after college and later got engaged here. Pippin is a great place to take in the view, sip on a glass of their award-winning wine, and have some light bites.
King Family Vineyards in Crozet is the perfect spot to sip on award-winning Virginia wines while enjoying gorgeous mountain views. Pack a picnic and relax on the lawn or check out their Sunday polo matches!
UVA students love this hike, and it's a stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains
At Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s historic home, you can tour the house, wander through beautiful gardens, learn a little history, and enjoy a nice day outdoors!
The Downtown Mall is the heart of Charlottesville, packed with local shops, great restaurants, and live entertainment. Also, don't miss the Farmer's Market on Saturday in the Water Street parking lot adjacent to the Downtown Mall!
Bodo’s Bagels is a Charlottesville favorite (and one of ours, too!), famous for its fresh, delicious bagels. Swing by for breakfast or lunch before walking around UVA's grounds — Sarah's fav is a tie between cinnamon raisin with strawberry cheese and poppyseed with plain cream cheese, and Henry's fav is an everything bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese!
Enjoy perusing around the farmer's market on Saturday between 8 a.m. to noon at IX park
