Last summer we took a trip to Marquette, and as we were heading back to our vacation rental after a day of adventuring we impulsively stopped to look at a waterfall that was off the side of the road. There was a small lookout, but no trail in sight. Another couple stopped us as we were hiking around the waterfall to tell us they didn't find any type of trail and we might as well head back. Luck was on our side that day because Hailey found a trail right as we were going to turn around and head back! It was a steep and somewhat scary path, especially in sandals (we weren't prepared for an afternoon hike). It was all worth it when we got to the bottom and felt the mist hit our faces as we waded into the falls!

We knew we wanted a memorable wedding date, so we decided to choose June 24th as it's close to our original anniversary, and falls at the end of pride month! June has always felt like a special month to us and we wanted to keep it special.
