Sarah and Gibrilla met while at Sprouts Farmer's Market in February of 2020. Sarah was working in the Vitamins Department at the time and Gibrilla was working part-time for Instacart. One day, Gibrilla came into the Vitamins Department while shopping for a customer and Sarah went over to assist him. After picking out the item, he adjusted the display so that Sarah wouldn't have to do it. As he walked a way, Sarah reflected on how thoughtful Gibrilla was and couldn't stop thinking about his smile. "He's probably my husband," she thought to herself. On another shift that same week, another employee named Wayne decided to formerly introduce Sarah to Gibrilla. Unbeknownst to Sarah, Gibrilla had inquired about Sarah to Wayne. After introducing them, Wayne boldly asked Sarah, "So are you single?" Sarah was taken back by this and replied that she was "Self-partnered." Then another employee began listing out all of the quality traits that Gibrilla had and why she should date him. Gibrilla stood highly embarassed while the whole store seemingly conspired to inform his crush that he was interested and play match-maker. Sarah, on the other hand, thought the whole thing was hilarious. The two avoided each other for a few shifts after that first awkward encounter until one night Sarah had a dream about the curious and handsome man from work. She decided to start talking to him during her next shift, and they had a very pleasant first "get to know you" conversation. Their next shift together, Sarah asked him if he had been to a restaurant called the Pinewood, a favorite of her's. He said that he hadn't, but wondered if Sarah would like to go together sometime. Sarah said she would love to and their first date was set. The rest is history. Through many ups and downs, highs and lows, the couple has grown together and has deepened their bond. They cannot wait to start this new chapter in their lives and experience all God has in store for them!
