Garrett and I met in January 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida, while attending the Vols vs. Indiana TaxSlayer Bowl. We happened to stay at the same hotel, and my first memory of him is seeing him sprint into the breakfast area at 9:59 AM, scrambling to grab food before the buffet closed. For the game, I had driven my dad’s truck down for tailgating with our group of about 20. I was wearing my checkerboard overalls when Garrett asked my friend Kelsey, “Who’s that in the overalls?” Meanwhile, I was asking her about the tall guy she knew. A week later, we hit it off and road-tripped to Baltimore for the Ravens-Titans playoff game—nothing like 10 hours in a car to really get to know someone! Our first official date was at Chili’s, and not long after, the world shut down. We officially started dating in May 2020 and have been together ever since. We love traveling (both across the U.S. and around the world), going to football games, and spending summers on the water with friends. In September 2024, I had to go to Greece for a month for work, and Garrett flew over so we could spend five days together on the island of Zakynthos. On September 24, at sunset, he proposed at Keri Lighthouse Restaurant in the most beautiful setting. I had no idea it was coming, and it was the sweetest proposal! Now, we’re counting down to December 13, 2025, when we officially start our next chapter as husband and wife!
