We’re Getting Married!

Sarah and Garrett met the new-fashioned way: on a dating app. Sarah had just moved to Raleigh after finishing school at Duke, while Garrett was working at his mom’s medical office. After a week of messaging, they took the plunge and met over some beers. The next day, Sarah went on a trip to Chicago with friends and couldn’t stop thinking about Garrett. And anyone who knows Garrett understands his quiet and stoic nature at first! After a few more dates, they didn’t look back. Over six years later, they are strengthening their roots in Raleigh along with their fur children, Basil and Nutmeg.

Garrett proposed at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont, NC while on a weekend trip to Charlotte. With the dogs in tow, they celebrated the engagement together over great food, Panthers football, and (in their first date fashion) beer.
