As of right now we have not been told we need to cancel or postpone. We are keeping an eye on our surrounding states as they change rules going forward, we are also keeping an eye on travel restrictions. As we get updates we will post them here for you. Like most modern love stories it all started online. After talking over the phone for awhile we finally decided to meet. Our first date was going to see the animated movie the Killing Joke that was in theaters for one night only. Sarah had bought two tickets hoping to have a friend go with her. When her friend was not able to go Garrett stepped up and went! The rest as they say is history!
Sarah and Garrett had a week long vacation planned for the beginning of August to the White Mountains and Hampton Beach. Garrett had the proposal planned for the beginning of vacation, he couldn't keep that secret all week long! The ring came from the jewelry store Sarah works at, Rebekah Brooks. It is an antique from the 1920's. It came into the store about 6 months before the proposal and Sarah fell in love with it. The store was running an engagement ring sale so Garrett knew he needed to act. Sarah left for work one morning and Garrett emailed her manager letting her know that he wanted to get the ring. By the time Sarah got into work she was informed that the ring had sold to a client in their Cambridge store, Sarah was heartbroken. Little did she know her manager and Garrett had worked up a fake client name and everything. Once in the White Mountains they took a trip up to Cathedral Ledge. While Sarah was taking pictures of the stunning view Garrett was getting down on one knee behind her. He tugged her arm as she turned around to see him down on one knee with THE ring she thought she had sold. After a few moments of being just speechless she said YES with out a doubt YES!
