This bar is where we met for the first time and had our first date! Pro tip: try the Daily Punch. It’s never the same but it’s always delicious. The nachos are also unmissable. The bar does not require reservations. We also celebrated our one year anniversary with dinner at Bastion’s intimate, 24-seat restaurant. Reservations are hard to come by so if you’d like to have one of the best meals of your life, make plans at least 30 days ahead of time.
This is where we had our second date and where we had dinner the night Gage proposed. It's right around the corner from Gage's old apartment and Morgan Park, where Gage proposed. We recommend making reservations at least 30 days ahead of time to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are accepted but rare.
The Belcourt is one of Nashville’s treasured cultural institutions. It’s Sarah and Gage’s favorite place to catch a flick so if you’re looking for a way to spend Friday night before the wedding, you can’t go wrong here. If you need a place to grab dinner beforehand, International Market is nearby and serves up some of the best Thai food in town.
A quirky taco spot that we love. Try our favorites, the #4 and #8.
Don’t be fooled by the gimmick. Walking into Tiger Bar might feel like you’re entering a 1930s circus tent, but the cocktails are no joke. Try the circus peanut whiskey coke or Ramos Gin Fizz. You won’t find them anywhere else in town!
An East Nashville staple, Mitchell’s Deli has great sandwiches (try the Turkey Apple Brie), an extensive salad bar, and delicious breakfast fare.
Downtown Nashville has become a bachelor/bachelorette party mecca for a reason. Broadway is rambunctious, loud, and stocked with Nashville’s best (for the most part) up-and-coming musicians. If you’re looking to party hard, Broadway is the place to go. We recommend the Recession Special (a fried bologna sandwich, chips, and a PBR for just $6) at Robert’s Western World, the fish and chips at Fleet Street Pub on Printer’s Alley, and while we can’t recommend it from personal experience, Kid Rock’s Big A*s Honky Tonk Rock n’ Roll Steakhouse promises a singular experience you will only find in the Country Music Capital of the World.
