Maid of Honor
Sarah and Hayley met one Sunday afternoon in 4th grade when their moms stopped to chat after church and immediately became best friends. They never went to the same school, but through many summers at Hayley’s lake house, going to Florida for spring break, getting severely sunburned (mostly Sarah), and watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers while eating too-salty popcorn, they formed a bond that has withstood the test of time. As they grew up, they’ve only grown closer through countless adventures, including a cross-country road trip, Harry Potter and knitting binges, several trips to Disney, travel to Ireland, and even living together for a time. They’re pretty sure they’ll end up old biddies together.
Best Man
Frank and Greg have been best pals since meeting in the first grade. Their shared enjoyment of vulgar language ("shut up") in a children's book sparked a friendship that is still going strong to this day. Through the years, their friendship has endured heated Cubs vs Sox debates, fiercely competitive Wii sports competitions, an apartment fire, and now a global pandemic. Now, after serving as Greg's best man, it's Greg's chance to return the favor to Frank and further solidify this unbreakable friendship.
Officiant
Frank met Jon through a mutual friend playing DnD sometime around 2008, and since then, a lot has happened. There have been more DnD sessions (now including Sarah), many themed parties, karaoke nights, bar adventures, renaissance festivals, onesies, and game nights. Though Frank has known Jon longer than Sarah has, they can both attest to the sincerity and depth of Jon's friendship. Sarah and Frank wanted their union to be officiated by someone important to them both, a trusted friend to stand with them at the altar as they take the first steps towards building a marriage based on love and friendship. Jon is outgoing, witty, and clever, but the qualities that made him the right choice to marry Sarah and Frank are his kind heart, thoughtfulness, and his writing ability.
