Flight
Reagan National is the airport most easily accessed by public transportation. If you are traveling in only for the wedding and not planning on spending more time in the area, BWI is the closest airport to the wedding. Annapolis is a 45 minute drive from Washington DC. There are no public transportation options from DC to Annapolis. (Well, there is, but it's a laborious and lengthy Metro + bus trip.)
Flight
Southwest hubs at BWI and is the second-largest airport by number of departures for that airline after Chicago–Midway. If you are considering transiting in an out of this airport, Southwest is probably the first airline you should look at for pricing and schedules. You can take a Super Shuttle from BWI to Crowne Plaza Annapolis for about $30 each way. Uber/Lyft is not cost prohibitive but more than Super Shuttle.
Flight
American hubs at Reagan. You can take a Super Shuttle from DCA to Crowne Plaza Annapolis for about $60 each way. There is a Metro station right at the airport to easily get into DC.
Flight
United hubs from Dulles. If you fly into Dulles, you are better off renting a car for the travel to Annapolis from either DC proper or directly from the airport. You will hate life for both the cost of the Super Shuttle and the eon of time you will spend on it. You can Uber from Dulles into DC for about $60 depending on the time of day. There is a Metro option from Dulles to DC but its a little cumbersome.
Hotel
We secured a block of rooms here at discount rate of $150. The rate is for the night of the wedding but they will honor it if you want to stay more days. (You must call the reservation line if you want to book more than one night rather than book on line. Sorry!) It includes breakfast for 2, normally $11 per person. Please book through the above link or reference the code when you book because we only get credit for rooms in the block booked under the code and we have to pay for any unused rooms. (eek!)

Hotel
Since the wedding is not actually in the city, and even my German Type-A levels of efficiency can't Excel spreadsheet enough to keep track of who is arriving when, staying how long, and wants to stay in what area to try to secure a discount block of rooms, unfortunately you are on your own for any amount of time you choose to enjoy our Nation's capital. Please feel free to ask if a hotel or neighborhood is trendy/ skanky/ geriatric before booking. I do recommend AirBnB as there are some great options in the city.
Hotel
This hotel is 2 blocks from where we live. It's not fancy but clean, cheap, has a parking lot and easy access to the city. (Even though John Oliver says Days Inn motto is "expect to get murdered here," I'm pretty sure you would survive the stay.)
Rental Car
The best way to get around DC proper is Metro, Uber/Lyft, and hoofin' it. The main downtown area of Annapolis is super cute and best done on foot. But getting from DC to Annapolis, and around the larger Annapolis area is not so easy. While paying to park a car in DC is pricey (it can lead to many parking tickets and Sarah can tell you where all the speed trap cameras are located), a car is really the best way to get to the wedding. We suggest arranging a rental car pick up for the morning of May 3rd. Please feel free to communicate with us about your plans and the best way to get around.
Rental Car
There will be up to 7000 scooters available for rent to explore the streets of DC. But we want you to actually make it to the wedding, not spend your time touring the local ERs. So here's some pointers for utilizing the trendy, zippy way to get from monument to monument.
