Sarah and Evan met in 2016 when they were both working at McDonald's while in high school. Sarah thought Evan was so cute driving around in his 1980s Volvo station wagon. Evan was too shy to ask Sarah out on a date, so their manager did it for him (and we'll always be grateful for that). They started dating the summer of 2016, and then Sarah moved to Pittsburgh for college. They dated long-distance for a couple of years while Sarah was at Pitt and Evan was finishing high school, and then they broke up. 2020 put a lot of things in perspective, and Sarah and Evan reconnected that March. Everyone said "if it's meant to be, it will be" and Sarah and Evan certainly were meant to be. Together, they bought a house, a puppy, and an old Land Rover and then Evan bought a ring. Their puppy, Hubie, helped Evan propose on August 6, 2022, and of course Sarah said yes. Sarah and Evan have been wedding planning over the past two years and are so so so excited to celebrate their love and begin a new chapter as husband and wife this fall.
