Are Children Invited?

We would love to celebrate with your little ones; however, as our wedding will take place at a lakehouse with unfenced waterfront areas and no lifeguards on duty, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not Really Summer Wedding Casual Picture breezy dresses, linen, and effortless summer style It may be warm and humid, so dress accordingly with light layers. No shorts, jeans or white, please!

What is parking like at the venue?

Answer

There will be no guest parking available at the venue. We have graciously arranged shuttle service from our hotel suggestions on the travel page( Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn) to the venue and back for all guests. If you choose to stay somewhere other than these hotels, please plan to arrange transportation to and from the shuttle pickup locations.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place at the lakehouse.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We understand that everyone has phones and may wish to take photos. However, we kindly encourage you to enjoy the ceremony screen-free when possible. Additionally, we ask that any photos taken not be shared on social media until the bride and groom have had the opportunity to share their day first. Thank you for helping us preserve this special moment.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions at this time. However, if you have a food allergy, please note it on your RSVP so we can ensure your safety.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our celebration intimate, plus ones are by invitation only. If a plus one has been extended to you, it will be indicated on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Is a gift required?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift, and gifts are never expected. However, for those who wish to give, we have a registry available on our website, as well as options to contribute to our honeymoon or house fund.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We understand that summer weather in Maine can be unpredictable. In the event of rain, tents will be provided for both the ceremony and reception. Please note that there will be no indoor space available at the venue.
