Sarah spent some time online dating with no success. She eventually swiped right on Ethan, who just joined the online dating scene after his cousin convinced him to create a profile (thank you Brandon & Amber!). Our first date was on February 6, 2022 at the Juniper Grill. The date lasted around 4 hours so that Ethan could have his long list of questions answered (yes, he actually brought a notebook of questions). That's what sealed the deal. We bonded over our witty jokes and love for God. Ethan knew after only a few weeks that Sarah was the one. Sarah took more time to warm up, but not much longer. Ethan asked Sarah to marry him on October 22, 2022 when she picked him up from the airport after his vacation. She drove him back to his house where it was decorated with balloons and the walls painted with the big question. Some of our favorite things to do include disc golf, board games, and watching movies together. Currently, we are working to remodel Ethan's great grandfather's home that he built in the 1950's, which will eventually become our home. We want our relationship to represent and glorify God and know that marriage is a commitment to serve each other, even on our worst days. We are so grateful that you are joining us to celebrate this very important time in our lives!
