We were two souls with a thirst for justice who found ourselves – and each other – in the small law school we both attended. First as friends, and then as partners in establishing the legal fraternity at the school, we grew in our affection and mutual admiration. After a time apart, and as fate would have it, we reconnected at a legal conference in Las Vegas. From there, our friendship blossomed into the love and commitment we now share, and from now on our future can only be seen with the two of us walking through it together.

Erez and the Los Angeles Philharmonic couldn’t have planned it better. As the cannons thundered and the fireworks lit up the sky during Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, the perfect date culminated in the perfect marriage proposal. After a gorgeous picnic overlooking the Hollywood Bowl, we settled into our box seats to enjoy the concert. Sarah had no idea why Erez brought his new Go Pro camera, but that’s Erez. By the time the fireworks ended, Erez (and the newlyweds in the next box) had captured the excitement of Sarah saying yes, and now the real fireworks will never end.
