Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are suggesting cocktail attire. Here are some links we find helpful if figuring out what to wear to a wedding stresses you out too: https://www.theknot.com/content/wedding-guest-attire-cheat-sheet https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire But if you lose track of time staring at an arch or get stuck in a canyon somewhere, who are we to judge if you roll up in your hiking gear?

Question

Is this shindig indoors or outdoors?

Answer

You may be picturing balmy weather since we're headed to the desert, but if you know the Southwest, you know it can get pretty chilly around this time of year -- especially in the evenings. Expect 40-50°F (5-10° for our Celsius friends). Both the ceremony and reception will be held inside, but there will be some time outdoors while the building is re-set for the reception. It's also worth noting that food and drinks are going to be in trucks outside. We will have a fire pit and some heaters out there, but it will still be chilly, so please make sure to bring a coat! (If it makes you feel any better, I [Sarah] fully plan to be rocking my puffer coat when I grab a taco...)

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would be so grateful if you would RSVP by October 1st.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We're going to start right at 3, so planning to arrive around 2:30 is a safe bet! You'll still have plenty of time for a full morning of hiking if you so choose :)

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

The Red Earth Venue has free on-site parking. The parking lot holds up to 50 cars, so if you came with friends, we ask that you consider carpooling.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

WE LOVE YOUR LITTLE ONES!! But due to size restrictions on this lil ceremony, we are not extending an invitation kiddos. We're sorry for any inconvenience!

Question

I didn't see a question on the RSVP about my meal...

Answer

We are having a taco truck! There will be lots of options including vegetarian, dairy free, GF, etc.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love our ceremony to be unplugged. We're going for quiet, sacred, and present. But once we wrap things up and head outside to grab some margs and tacos, feel free to bust your phone out! That's where the great views are anyway :)

For all the days along the way
