Maid of Honor
Tai has been an integral part of planning this wedding. We bonded over joining a burn bootcamp workout class together that did not take Tai very long to regret due to my persistence in the early mornings. She is the fire sign to my earth sign. She is loud, brave, tenacious, loyal, and I can always trust she will give me her honest truth...whether I ask for it or not. She is my forever sounding board, my judge and jury, my biggest cheerleader and my best friend. When we put our heads together, I believe we can do anything. I cannot express how lucky I feel to have her stand beside me for such an important milestone in my life.
Maid of Honor
Kelsey and I met by my bombarding her study room in college, and we have been inseparable ever since. She has been such a steady and grounding presence in my life. I thank the universe she is a May taurus because she is the sweet, kind, caring, and rational to my stubborn, hardheaded, and reactive personality. Kelsey has worn many hats in our relationship, she has been my study buddy, my roommate, my travel companion, and my favorite hat is the one that has made her my best friend. I am so lucky to know that she will be standing next to me, holding my hand on my special day, and until we are old and grey.
Bridesmaid
Leann and I met when I was 16 years old working at Willamette Oaks retirement center as servers in the dining hall. She invited me to come swim at her apartment pool and she hasn't been able to get rid of me ever since! Leann is an adventurous, creative, and compassionate friend who possesses the ability to strike up a meaningful conversation with just about anyone. I have always looked up to her as not only a strong woman, but also as a person who makes everyone around them feel important and loved. About a year ago I got to stand up next to her at the altar and I am so grateful that she is now returning the favor!
Bridesmaid
Amanda and I met in the deep dark depths of night shift nursing. She was a shoulder to lean AND on cry for me as a new nurse that I will never forget that I had. Amanda and I have a shared love for romantasy books, good food, our cats, and the great outdoors. She is a great nurse, and an even better friend. Amanda is witty, kind, thoughtful, and hilarious. I have had the privilege of being a part of her sweet baby Alina's life and it has been such a joy to watch her be the best mom ever to my niece. Thanks for always being there for the important stuff, Amanda.
Bridesmaid
Leah and I met and became best friends through high school soccer. We have seen each other through many of life's ups and downs over the years and no matter how far we go in distance we always find our way back to each other. Leah is smart, bold, funny and has one of the biggest hearts of anyone you will ever know. We share a mutual love of our dads and our dogs. I know if I called Leah up in the middle of the night and told her I needed her all she would ask is where we should hide the body. As far back as I can remember Leah has been by my side, and I look forward to continuing this new journey forward with her alongside me as well.
Best Man
While Holden and I have only been friends for a few years, it's felt like forever. From going out for drinks, golfing, working out or just walking the dogs you know he'll find some way to talk smack (most often when I launch a golf ball off the fairway and almost knock someone out....Oops.) Nevertheless, Holden is someone you can rely on to be there at any given moment, and that's what I love about the guy. His loyalty to his friends is beyond admirable and I am grateful to have him as a friend. I'm thankful to know I'll have such a good friend to grow old with.
Groomsman
Matt and I have been close friends for what is almost 10 years now. Matt is Leann's other half, and together they are the best of the best. From the moment we met I knew that we'd stay friends forever. He is one of the smartest, if not the smartest, person I know and could become best friends with a brick wall. In addition to all that, he's pretty dang good at fishing. Matt is someone I truly look up to
Groomsman
I could write an essay on all the things that make Luis such a good friend, but I'll keep it short and sweet today. Luis and I met through Kelsey (his better half) and quickly hit it off. From traveling to Hawaii, New Orleans, and Mexico, you know there's never a dull moment. Luis's kindness and his care for his friends and family runs deep. I will always cherish the moments when Luis and I put our arms around each other's shoulders, pause, and take in the moment. He is grounding and when you're around him you feel as though you recharge.
Groomsman
Louis could be the funniest person I know. As a consequence, my eyes well up with tears and my stomach doesn't cease to stop hurting when I'm around him. We met through Kelsey and Luis and quickly became friends through our mutual enjoyment of triathlons. However, quickly after that we realized we had much more in common and hit it off from there. Louis loves his friends more than life itself, and loves his sweet dog Cassie even more. In addition, he is thoughtful, extravagant with his fits, boisterous and my favorite of all, unapologetically himself.
Groomsman
Adam and I met in an Communications class back in I believe 2018. Right from the start he was friendly, funny, and always made class enjoyable. Today Adam is still the same person (maybe even more outgoing if that's even possible.) Adam is always down for a good time even after a long work week. Adam puts his friends first and even though he seems like a constant jokester, I know I can rely on him when I need him most!
Groomsman
Trevor and I originally met while we both were personal trainers at a local gym. Trevor is just one of those people that everyone just seems to like right away. Right away we hit it off based on our mutual interest of doing stupid shit. The first couple weeks of knowing each other Trevor said he signed up for a Triathlon, so I said I'd join him. While triathlons aren't a walk in the park, we were well prepared for it, so I wouldn't call it our dumbest endeavor. What was dumb was the decision to run 30 miles for Trevor's 30th birthday. We went into that with little preparation, and came out the other end a bit tore up, but I'd do it all over again any day. Trevor isn't just a dude who's down for anything, he's also without a doubt the most loyal friend I know. Trevor's got your back through thick and thin anytime and any day of the week!
Groomsman
I'm pretty sure I've known Kyle almost longer than Sarah. Kyle is Sarah's younger brother and I met him in high-school during football season. From family camping trips to OCF, Sarah and I have a lot of fond memories with Kyle. You'll never meet someone more loyal towards their family than Kyle. At any given moment he'd be there for anyone he considers family in a split second. Sarah and Kyle have been through a lot together in their lives so it's only fitting to have him up there with us on such a big day. I'm grateful to call Kyle family and gain him as a brother. I look forwards to all the future adventures and Fairs we do!
