Our Story

Actually, the best gift you could have given her was a lifetime of adventures- Lewis Carroll
We met on a cruise to New England/Canada in June 2017. We were each vacationing with our folks (& Ed's boys). Our families were assigned to sit together on the 2nd night of the 10 day cruise. During that trip, we got to know each other & our folks enjoyed each other's company as well. We have many things in common, such as Vietnam Army vets kids, Catholics, Boy Scout parents (Scoutmaster in Ed's case), GMU alumni, O'Connell alumni on both sides & we live just a few miles apart.
Despite Ed's forewarning that he doesn't text much (he wasn't lying) vs Sarah's love of texting we did manage to communicate and plan a first "off the boat" date. Since we have had many adventures of our shared interests, going to Walmart/Aldi, mass, concerts, sports games, walks, cooking togther, laundry folding, hanging with our friends and of course cruising. It's been an amazing 5+ years since, blessed by God.
