FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at the reception or during the ceremony, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only event.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at noon. We kindly ask that you arrive by 11:45 a.m. to allow time to find your seat and get comfortable. This ensures everyone can settle in before we begin.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're asking our guests to dress formally for the occasion. We'd love for you to incorporate our wedding colors—amethyst, forest green, and gray—into your attire if possible.

Question

Why is there such a big gap between the wedding and the reception?

Answer

We've built in extra time between events to allow our venues to be properly set up and broken down—we want everything to be beautifully executed. This gap also gives us a wonderful opportunity to spend time with family members traveling from out of town, which we're really looking forward to.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the RSVP page on our website and submit your response by May 2nd. This helps us plan accordingly for your celebration. If you have any trouble navigating the site, feel free to reach out to Drex or Sarah for assistance.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at both Von Baer Park and the church building. Should these lots reach capacity, street parking is readily available near both venues.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast. If the weather gets too severe, the ceremony will be moved to the reception venue.
