Rocky Mountain National Park (Bear Lake Gate)
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the country that offers scenic drives, beautiful lookout locations, and if you are up for it - plenty of hiking! The Fall River park entrance in Estes Park is a short drive from the center of town and provides access to some of the most popular trails and routes. We highly recommend visiting. During peak season, mid-May through mid-October, a timed entry pass is required. Since we don't know exactly what day the entry passes will no longer be required, we have linked the website for you to stay up to date and if needed, obtain passes for your visit!
The Stanley Hotel
This hotel was the inspiration for the Overlook Hotel in Stephen King's novel and film "The Shining" As it currently stands, the hotel offers lodging accommodations, a spa and several different tour options.
