Sarah and Dominic met in Santa Fe, NM. Dominic had just come back to his hometown after living in China for 4 years and Sarah was graduating from Santa Fe University and working for a private art collection based out of Santa Fe. Clearly the two had their eyes closed for the first year they knew each other, because it was not until they ran into each other at a bar that they saw each other for the first time. They clicked quickly and bonded easily. Sarah took Dominic to San Antonio for the first time later that year. He met her family while celebrating her sister, Megan's (Matron of Honor) engagement. On this trip, the two were able to see their favorite basketballs teams, the Spurs and Celtics. Other highlights of their early relationship include the addition of two beautiful kitties, Arya and Hermione. The two later relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The two made good friends and ate many cheese curds. While living in Milwaukee the two experienced many fun new things, including the idea on living small. In June 2020, Sarah and Dominic bought their travel trailer, Zephyrine. The trailer went under full restoration including, gutting the inside, putting in new floors, walls, and cabinets. They made the 200 sq ft space a place to call home with their 2 dogs and 5 cats (yes, you read that correctly). With the zoo in tow, they have traveled to 6 different states and plan to visit many more, including Louisiana.
