We're Getting Married!

Our story begins in November of 2018. To paint the picture, DJ was at a football game with his sister and he had asked her for my social media, snapchat to be exact. From the first “sup” we have been talking every day since. Our first date was for Sunday night football (of course) at a sports bar in Antioch the week before Christmas. We were inseparable ever since, from movie dates to amusement parks to bingeing tv shoes during lock down. On December 11, 2021, we went to San Francisco for what I thought was just going to be a normal date. He took me to union square to see the Christmas tree which he knew was one of my favorite places during Christmas time. DJ was very persistent on wanting to take a picture in front of the tree and wanting a woman to take the photo. After one failed attempt, we went to the other side of the tree and found the perfect person to take it. It was in that moment, he grabs my hands, tells me he loves me and gets down on one knee and asks me to be his forever. Of course, I SAID YES!!! We cannot wait to get married and begin this next chapter of our lives in front of all of our family and friends in just a few short months!!
