We're getting hitched!

After years of crossing paths, we landed in the same English class junior year of high school. Of course we continued to disregard each other until the spring, when we discovered our shared interest of Passion Pit and Albert Camus. College took us 1,272 miles apart: Dickson at the University of Texas & Sarah at Virginia Tech. Plane tickets, texts, phone calls, and care packages keeping us connected. After 3 years, Dickson returned to Virginia. Upon college graduation in 2017, we moved back across country to Dallas, Texas with our dogs, Simba & Frankie. So here we are, thrilled to finally be heading to the chapel on our 8 year anniversary - May 5, 2019.

Cause we know you'll ask. One hour after talking to my dad, Dickson proposed at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in front of Lemons May 16 1984 (Primary Title) by Donald Sultan. With 5 minutes until the museum closed & a security guard hovering close, Dickson quietly offered me his late grandmother's ring & I blushed profusely.
