Question
What time should I arrive for pictures at the Gilbert Temple if I'm not attending the marriage ceremony?
Answer
If you are not attending the temple ceremony, we invite you to gather with us on the temple grounds immediately following the 2:30pm ceremony. We will be snapping a few photos with family and friends at this time. If you wish to join us, please plan to arrive to the grounds by 3:15pm unless otherwise noted. We should be exiting the front doors of the temple somewhere between 3:15 and 3:30pm after the ceremony. We would love all to be there! Afterwards, we invite all to join us for a brief ring ceremony at the Desert Botanical Gardens followed by a reception.

How should I proceed to the wedding venue once I arrive at the Desert Botanical Gardens the evening of 9/27?
Answer
Once you arrive to the gardens, you will park in the free, public lot directly outside. Please proceed to walk to the main entrance where the admissions booths are located. From there, you will be guided by a series of directional signs pointing to the Webster Reception Center, where the evening’s festivities will be held. At admissions, you will also be directed with a map to the venue. Please note that this does entail a bit of walking through some of the park grounds in order to get to the Webster Center. Please advise us beforehand if you will need additional assistance.

What attire should I wear?
Answer
We want everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable at our reception. So whether you go business casual or a bit more formal, it is up to you! Since the weather will still likely be quite warm by the end of September, please plan accordingly.

Will the reception venue be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our reception venue includes two, paved outdoor terraces, one of them with partial shade. There is also an indoor, climate-controlled room all guests will have access to, should it be particularly hot that evening.

Please let us know beforehand of any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions we should be aware of. We will be providing vegetarian food options as a part of the dinner buffet.

How do I obtain free admission to explore the Desert Botanical Gardens on the day of the wedding?

Will there be any other wedding celebrations outside of Phoenix?
Answer
Yes, we are still working out those details, but plan to have an Open House in Piedmont, CA in late October. All are welcome!
