Aufruf is a Yiddish word that means "calling up". In Jewish tradition, the bride and groom are called up to give a blessing over the Torah in synagogue ahead of their wedding. Services will be followed by a light kiddush (food).

All guests and their families (including children!) are invited to join us for Havdalah (prayer marking the end of Shabbat) and ice cream to celebrate the end of Shabbat and the beginning of our wedding. Feel free to stay for the whole time, or come whenever is most convenient for you. Your RSVP helps us for planning purposes, but feel free to join us even if you decide last minute.
