Sarah and David met on a dating app in May 2023. What started as a simple text conversation quickly turned into them spending nearly every day together. Their first date was at Black Barrel Tavern. Fueled with some liquid confidence and witty jokes, David and Sarah hit it off. They spent the rest of the summer going to festivals and exploring fun restaurants and bars around the city. Over the past couple of years, they’ve made amazing memories together, including a big trip to Vietnam and Thailand. They love being spontaneous and trying new things together. They share a deep love for Chicago, their families, friends, careers, and, of course, their big, goofy bernese mountain dog, Franky. David proposed this summer on the Chicago riverwalk, one of their favorite places. Now, Sarah and David can’t wait to celebrate their marriage with the people who mean the most to them and to begin this next chapter together.
