Katie Stokes Snell

Katie (a.k.a. "Stokesy") and Sarah met in 2005 playing softball at Wenatchee Valley College. Since then they've remained long distance best friends, always staying closely connected. They've always supported each other in their different paths in life. Katie even traveled to Italy to visit Sarah when she was going to school there, and has helped her move across the country twice. They are kindred spirits and love to get together and for laughs and adventure! Sarah very much enjoyed being a part of Katie's wedding to Johnny Snell in 2018, and considers him a very close friend as well.
Jared Schwartz
Best Man
As Dash's cousin, these two met long before they could speak coherent sentences. They have seen it all and have had many adventures together. On many family trips Jared and Dash used to sneak off and get into mischief , which created some wonderful memories (and stories) over the years. They've also explored Quebec, New York, Montreal, Utah, and Washington together and have always been incredibly close. Dash is ecstatic that Jared met the love of his life, Leah, and enjoys spending time with both of them. While they do live far from one another they know that they always have each others back.
Christina Godinez

Christina (Stina) was Sarah's very first friend when she moved to Austin. She is the project manager of the friend group, organizing many happy hours, outings, and girls trips. Sarah and Dash met around the same time Christina met her husband, Paul. They enjoy sharing many dinners and holidays with the Godinez family and recently have gained the responsibility of Cool Aunt & Uncle to little Brooklyn Godinez. They really consider each other local family (aka "Framily")!
Travis Watt
Groomsman
Travis is Dash's childhood buddy. They were separated to different classrooms after they hit it off in the first grade having entirely too much fun. They share fond memories of playing on sport teams together and riding unicycles. They've been through many phases of life together and Dash has enjoyed seeing Travis become a wonderful husband and father. Although Travis and Dash reside in different parts of the country, they are truly are life long friends and their families remain very close.
Jennifer Roberts
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Jennifer met at Montana State University - School of Architecture. They have very different personalities and strengths (Jennifer very technical, Sarah very creative), which made them the perfect team to pair up on projects together! They've been through a lot when it comes to crazy all-nighters and deadlines, and have always supported each other. Over the years Sarah and Jennifer have traveled far and wide to stay in touch - meeting up in Oregon, California, Montana, Texas, and recently Greece!
Jon McElfresh
Groomsman
Jon became Dash's partner in crime when he first moved to Austin. They developed a strong bond working together at a restaurant that shall not be named. They have many comical stories of being in their twenties trying to figure life out, sometimes the hard way. Dash admires Jon's work ethic and responsibility, and was heartbroken when Jon moved back home to Oregon. He is thrilled to get him back in Austin to be part of the wedding.
Nikol Plata

Its a long story... Niki and Sarah were paired as pen-pals in the 4th grade! Snail mail between Ohio and Montana evolved to phone calls, email, and fifteen years of staying in touch. In 2011, the two decided to finally meet in person by taking a road trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas together over Labor Day Weekend. The next year Niki helped inspire Sarah to take her job in California and was huge support system during her time there. They share a friendship that is incredibly unique and long standing. A recent highlight was traveling to Greece for Niki's 2019 wedding to John Plata.
David Broadlick

David and Dash met as roomates about six years ago. Their friendship grew as they learned the responsibilites of taking care of a house and how to fix old disfuntucal home appliances. Their bond remains strong to this day as they've gone on to become homeowners in the same neighborhood. Even though they do not live in the same house anymore, they still make time to "bro and show" (as Sarah calls it) and watch their favorite TV series together.
Stephanie Buchmiller

In the summer of 2008, Sarah came back to Helena to work and save for school. She met Stephanie, who had recently moved to Montana from Wisconsin. They worked together at Karmadillos Southwest Café and became fast friends. It turned out to be the most incredible summer that they still talk about to this day. Stephanie now works with Sarah's dad at USGS and is very close with the Holnbeck's. Sarah considers her part of the family and enjoys getting together for holidays whenever she returns to Helena.
Michael Church

Just like Jon, Dash met Mr. Church at that restaurant that shall still not be named. These two have experienced many mile stones together such as being there when Church met his now wife. Dash and Church like to jam out and sing and come up with jingles that soldify into inside jokes. While it has been a long time since they worked together they still like to catch up on the golf course.
Rya Ortiz

Sarah and Rya were roommates in Laguna Beach. They shared a tiny space together, but recognized how lucky they were to be living right on Pacific Coast Highway. They also shared a love for dogs - which was good, because they had three of them in that small beach house! So many wonderful memories were made during those years. Sarah appreciates Rya's kind heart, free spirit, and positive attitude. Even though they live states apart, they visit each other once a year, and share a tradition of making vision boards together when they meet up.
Benjamin Bressler

Ben is Dash's favorite college times buddy. These two bond over the fact that they really had no buisness being in a fraternity. They still share those memories and laugh about it to this day. They may not have had a ton in common but twelve years later they still are the best of friends. Some of their favorite memories are the road trips from Seattle to Pullman and back. Ben is the kind of friend everyone should have; selfless and always there if you need him.
