We're Tying the Knot!

We met our senior year at Boston College - unofficially when I was Danny's waitress at Roggies and a bit more officially at the first mod party of senior year. A year after graduating we met again at our friend's birthday party! From there it was run in after run in and accidental double dates that couldn't have gone better. After over five years of dating we're now living in Portland, Maine as Danny works towards his medical degree - another dream come true!

Danny popped the question on a weekend away with our friends. With the help of two of our groomsmen, Eric and Nick, Danny was able to find the perfect opportunity to surprise me! On Saturday morning we set out for some fresh air and went for a beautiful hike up a snowy mountain. At the top of our hike was a gorgeous waterfall. As Danny and I got in place to take our picture by this winter wonderland, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I immediately asked him "are you serious" and after getting confirmation that he was in fact serious, said "YES"!
