Question
Will the streetcar be moving during the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! See the map above: We will be picked up at Canal @ Carondelet at 6pm, and dropped off at Audubon Park on St. Charles St. around 6:35-6:45pm. From here, we will have arrangements for transportation (party bus) to bring guests to the reception. You may arrange to have your own method of transportation if you like. Those attending the reception only can meet us at Theo's Pizza!

What hotel do you recommend?
Answer
If you are attending the ceremony, the streetcar will pick everyone up for the ceremony at 6pm promptly at Canal and Carondelet. We recommend staying in a hotel that is walking distance from the pick-up location, as this location is in the popular Downtown area of New Orleans, where you will have several areas to walk to from your hotel. This also provides stops for both the Canal Streetcar and St. Charles streetcar which can take you walking distance to almost nearly all popular areas of New Orleans for $1.25. Reach out to us if you have questions about the location of your accommodation. Please be mindful of typical additional fees for parking or other services. How much is the streetcar?
Answer
The streetcar for the ceremony is no cost to you. However, there will be a streetcar stop right outside the reception venue that can take you straight back to the downtown area. It makes stops every 12 minutes and costs $1.25. Exact cash is recommended. However, you can also purchase a jazzy pass at https://www.norta.com/store and have it mailed to you prior to the wedding. Or according to the website, you can purchase these at Walgreens in New Orleans.

Is parking available if I drive?
Answer
For those driving, there is usually a daily parking fee for hotels downtown, so please be mindful of this when you are booking your hotel. Shuttles will be provided for transportation from the ceremony stop to the reception. If those attending the reception want to drive, street parking is available in nearby neighborhoods around the area. We recommend taking public transport as able.

What will the weather be like in New Orleans?
Answer
New Orleans is known to still have heat and humidity, even in October. Usually, it gets cooler at night. The average temperature will be from 70-83 degrees at this time. We recommend bringing warmer weather style clothing and a light jacket for going outdoors at night.
