FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. For men, this means a button-down shirt, a suit, and maybe a tie. Unfortunately, the Hawaiian shirt is not cocktail attire. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Question

Where will the ceremony be?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the beach outside the Cabrillo Pavilion.

Question

Should I fly into Santa Barbara or LA?

Answer

We prefer to fly directly to Santa Barbara. At face value, LA looks like a cheaper option. In our experience, it ends up being about the same cost once you factor in the rental car, California gas (yikes), and the time to drive to Santa Barbara. If you do fly into LAX, the Santa Barbara AirBus takes you directly from the airport to downtown Santa Barbara. You can book it on this website: https://www.sbairbus.com/

Question

Where should I eat in Santa Barbara?

Answer

We recommend Jeanine's for breakfast, East Beach tacos for lunch, and Mizza for dinner. If you are a coffee drinker, we really like the Caje downtown (1316 State St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101). There are closer ones, but this one is really pretty.

Question

Where should I park for the wedding?

Answer

We reserved 25 spots at the Cabrillo Pavilion. It has two parking lots, east and west. There are ten reserved in the east lot and 15 in the west. If the spots filled up, street parking is usually available around this part of the beach.
