We met through our close friends and first connected at their intimate wedding in Rhode Island. We felt an easy connection right away, then stayed in touch while living across the country from each other. With Dan living in New Orleans and Sarah in the Bay Area made things uncertain at first but what started as casual conversations quickly grew into something deeper. Daniel was determined to know her and spent over a month to engage in a courting process. In 2021, we had our first official date at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Coffee turned into sushi, then a dart game at a local pub, and by the end of the night, we both knew. We became immediate companions after our first date and have felt like life partners since.
