Great Microbrewery with German bier hall setup, great atmosphere and good beer, also has good food. Located in “the Grove” which is a great little area and traditionally the “gay” area of STL

Brick River Cider

2000 Washington Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63103

Hi-Pointe Drive-In

1033 McCausland Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63117

Sugarfire Smoke House

605 Washington Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63101
, (314) 394-1720

There’s actually several locations now but they’re all excellent. Truly basically the best BBQ. If you later in the evening maybe call before to see if they still have whT you’re wanting on the menu. They sell out of brisket and ribs commonly. Yes it’s that good. Brisket and ribs are the best, also use the white BBQ sauce.

4 Hands Brewing Co

1220 South 8th Street, St. Louis, MO 63104
, (314) 436-1559

Superb microbrewery. They have a great area upstairs to sit and commonly will have sitting area outside. It’s in a weird industrial looking location. The beer is superb.

9 Mile Garden

9375 Gravois Road, Affton, MO 63123
, (314) 390-2806

It’s a food truck garden. Yep, that’s right. A huge open outdoor area with some seating and food trucks pull up in slots and it’s a hay day. Look it up online for availability as it’s not a 24/7 thing.

Meskerem Ethiopian Restaurant

La Pâtisserie Chouquette

1626 Tower Grove Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110
, (314) 932-7935

Probably the BEST macrons or desserts period you’ll ever eat. Also amazing coffee/drinks. Literally everything is amazing. You must go here. Get there early. They sell out every. Single. Day.

Addie's Thai House

14156 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield, MO 63017
, (314) 469-1660

A little bit out of STL City but worth it. It is the best Thai.

Thai Country Cafe

6223 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130
, (314) 862-0787

A little bit of a “hole in the wall” type of place but really great Thai and bang for your buck.

Corner 17

6623 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130
, (314) 727-2402

Great Hawaiian style poke bowls. One of Danie’s favs

Pharaohs Donuts

202 North 9th Street, St. Louis, MO 63101
, (314) 351-0285

The best donuts! Super light and fluffy like a Krispy Kreme but better with many flavor options. Small local business. Also a 2nd location in CWE

La Vallesana

2801 Cherokee Street, St. Louis, MO 63118
, (314) 776-4223

Superb Mexican. Very authentic. Any Mexican on Cherokee is going to be pretty authentic. One of Sarah’s favs. Reminds her of Mexico.

Earthbound Beer

2724 Cherokee Street, St. Louis, MO 63118
, (314) 769-9576

Amsterdam Tavern

3175 Morgan Ford Road, St. Louis, MO 63116
, (314) 772-8224

If you want an intimate sports pub type of feel... this is your place. It’s actually a soccer bar but have cardinals and blues and local sports games on. They have a great little back patio.

Ices Plain & Fancy

2256 South 39th Street, St. Louis, MO 63110
, (314) 601-3604

Our favorite ice cream place. They make it in front of you.. you heard me. They make it with nitrogen so it flash freezes the cream and ingredients in the mixer. It’s delicious and they have “naughty” and “nice” flavors.

Clementine's Naughty & Nice Creamery

4715 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109
, (314) 858-6100

Fantastic coffee and local coffee company. Danie’s favorite is the Noir. Def worth trying.
