Maybe a little...but now that that's out of the way!
Most guests will likely fly into Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). If you are interested in attending, we recommend tracking flight prices on Google Flights starting now! That way you can lock in the best price possible and see if a flight becomes available that is within your price range.
Yes! Cory and I have been monitoring flight pricing for awhile now, and while they have maintained a steady price, we are starting to see a slow increase - could be a summer wave and they may drop again near fall, but also... who knows! (Pro Tip: If your dates are flexible, leaving on Friday, 10/31 (yes, Halloween) provides you with the cheapest flight options.) Optional: To track prices for a specific flight, choose your flights, then turn on Track prices.
Personally, Cory and Sarah have decided to fly out on Friday, 10/31 to enjoy a couple days in Barcelona together before the big celebration! (The calm before the storm, if you will. Though, it's not really a storm - more like a beautiful flurry that will come and go in a flash haha.) But remember, we cannot enter the villa until Monday, 11/3 later in the afternoon. Sadly, because of the way the flights were set up, Sarah and Cory must leave the villa around 7:45-8 a.m. on Friday morning, 11/7, to catch their flight. (Though the villa's check out itself is not until 10:30am - so you do not have to leave with them!) We are flying out of DFW. Direct flights from DFW to BCN stop in November due to a slow season, so we are doing a flight that has one layover in JFK. But we looked, and it looks like there are plenty of options out there to fit your time / traveling needs!
No!! You buying an international flight to come celebrate with us is more than enough. We will provide you with free lodging. (I mean, really - it's the least we can do.)
U.S. citizens do not need a visa for stays under 90 days for tourism purposes. However, DO make sure your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your stay.
We will be about 25 minutes outside of Barcelona, and 5 minutes outside of the beautiful Sitges beach town. We have a list of recommendations under our "Travel" tab that were provided to us by our villa. You are not obligated to stay at any of these hotels, and can choose to stay wherever you prefer!
We will be working on coordinating with a transportation service. However, there are a number of options for transportation! You can book a private car, call a taxi, or even Uber! (Yes, Uber is available even in Barcelona)
More details are to come on this! But for now just know the official wedding date is November 5th, 2025, and it will take place just outside of Barcelona at the beautiful Villa Almanita. (Cue Cheetah Girls 2 anthem.)
We are dreaming of an effortlessly stylish celebration—a la breezy, earthy-chic. Think flowy fabrics, light and airy vibes with a touch of that bohemian charm—give us that sun-kissed semi-formal with a twist! We live for the elegant but comfortable aesthetic. For the ladies, light and flowy dresses, natural tones and patterns, or soft pastels are perfect. Gentlemen, feel free to rock linen shirts, dress pants, or summer suits. Leave the ties at home, but bring your best dancing shoes for the night! (Or go barefoot, that works too.)
No - they are not. We know you love your children, and, odds are, we probably love them too! However, we envision an adults only celebration. We thank you for your understanding with this!
We are working on this, so more details to come!
Spain uses the Euro (€). Most places accept major credit cards, and, in fact, a lot of major credit credits will not charge you international transaction fees! But we do advise to have some cash on hand. In our experience, it's cheapest to convert your money with your bank before departing; however, you are free to do as you please (but please try to avoid those borderline-scam exchange booths in malls - their exchange rates are practically criminal.)
Barcelona is typically 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time (ET) in the U.S., 7 hours ahead of Central Standard Time (CST), and 8 hours ahead of Pacific Time (PT).
Barcelona has a Mediterranean climate, so one can expect early november in Barcelona to be mild and pleasant weather with a mix of sunny and partly cloudy days. Think highs between 64-68 degrees fahrenheit and lows between 50 - 54 degrees. However, (though it would be cool if we could), we don't control the weather so always check a week before departing, and pack accordingly!
Yes! We are working on curating a fun and ~optional~ list of excursions and activities. More details to come.
All we're saying is we've heard A LOT about the traditional Spanish or Catalan cuisine like paella, tapas, and churros. Not to mention the local wine and cava!!
We do have a registry linked onto this website. We do not expect a thing, however, any gift you'd like to give is of course appreciated with so much love and gratitude. If you'd like to know what we desire most, it would probably be your kind gift of helping us fund our dream honeymoon (Linked under our "Registry" tab)
No need to bring any gifts to the wedding! If you choose to gift us with something, ZOLA will make sure we receive it. (Gotta love technology sometimes!)
Scan the QR code on your reservation card, and it will direct you to exactly where you need to be.
