FAQs

Question

I noticed the dates on the invite say September 19-21st, what day is the actual wedding?

Answer

Since it's in a more remote location, we have decided to make it a weekend of love! Friday the 19th will be a welcome party for all guests. Saturday the 20th will be the day we tie the knot! Sunday the 21st, we will be staying to bbq along the river and hang! You are more than welcome to stay longer if it works for you and your family!

Question

Is there hotel accommodations nearby?

Answer

We’ve rented an 1850s hotel called Carrville Inn in Trinity Center for many of our close friends, and the wedding resort also has 7 cozy cabins reserved for family. For those who prefer a more outdoorsy experience, the Coffee Creek Campground and RV Park is right next to the venue — perfect if that’s your style! If you're not already booked at one of these spots, there are also several Airbnb options in Trinity Center nearby. We recommend booking early, as accommodations in the area are limited. Let us know if you need help finding a place!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones and they are absolutely welcome at our wedding! That said, we do kindly recommend making it a kid free weekend if you’re able. We want you to fully relax, let loose, and enjoy the celebration with us. But of course, we understand if bringing them is the best option for your family.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to dress in cocktail attire. Think semi-formal but festive! Feel free to have fun with color!

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We are kicking off the weekend with a taco bar at the welcome party on Friday. For wedding night on Saturday, we are having catering from Odell's bbq in Redding, CA. Tri Tip, bbq chicken, and lots of yummy sides!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Friday night welcome party will start at 6:00pm. For the ceremony Saturday, we are asking guests to arrive at 3:30pm. The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. Guests arriving late will be held back.

Question

When is the RSPV deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2025 so we can have an accurate headcount for our caterer.

Question

Anything else we should know?

Answer

Yes! Trinity Center is beautiful, but remote! Once you arrive, food and gas options are very limited, so we recommend filling up your tank in Redding and stocking up on groceries before making the drive in. The Carrville Inn and the cabins at the wedding resort all have kitchens, so feel free to bring what you need for breakfast and lunch. We’ll be providing dinner on Friday and Saturday, but the rest of your meals will be DIY. Think of it as part of the adventure!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are in long-term or serious relationships. If a plus one was included on your invitation, their name will be listed. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

For all the days along the way
