NUBBLE LIGHT / SOHIER PARK
Located in scenic York, Maine, Nubble Lighthouse (formally known as Cape Neddick Light Station) is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. It sits just off the mainland on Nubble Island and can be viewed by visitors from Sohier Park. "The Nubble", as many locals refer to it, stands as an iconic symbol of Maine's maritime history.
York Beach
The Town of York, Maine is home to the some of the best beaches in New England. Enjoy some time at the beach and visit Long Sands or Short Sands beach. Public parking via kiosks.
Fisherman's Walk & Wiggly Bridge
Fisherman’s Walk begins at York Harbor Beach and covers Wiggly Bridge, with options to extend the scenic trail if you so choose. Fisherman’s Walk offers gorgeous views of the New England coast. You’ll see stunning coastal homes, landscaping, and boats. Guests often point out the flowers and foliage along the trail, which showcase coastal Maine’s natural beauty. You’ll cross Wiggly Bridge, which happens to be the world’s smallest suspended bridge. It was constructed in the 1930s and leads the way to other scenic trails designed to put you in touch with nature.
