Our Story:

We met at Kent State University where we were both student athletes. I was on the gymnastics team and Connor was on the baseball team. We started dating our Freshman year of college. We have been together for over 8 years! Connor moved from Neenah, Wisconsin to Cincinnati, Ohio. We moved into our first house in 2021 with our golden retriever, Buster. 

The Engagement

Connor decided that he wanted to take a walk after work. It was raining and I was wondering why he wanted to go in the rain but we went anyways. After the walk, Connor was stalling and asked if I wanted ice cream. I always want ice cream but I decided I wanted to eat dinner first. He insisted on going to Mcdonalds for a shamrock shake. This was all to stall so his parents could make it to Cincinnati in time for the proposal. When we got home the basement was candlelit with flowers all over. Connor and I had a private moment where he got down on one knee. A few minutes after, both of our families surprised us!
