A government-issued passport is required. Please note that passports expiring within 6 months of travel cannot be used. Ensure all passports are renewed accordingly. Additionally, in 2026 the EU is requiring an ETIAS to visit European countries. ETIAS is an electronic system that allows visa-free travel for visitors from countries that don’t need a visa to enter the EU. The application isn’t open yet, but when it’s available, applicants will fill out an online application and pay a small fee of € 7. You’ll need to share personal information like your date of birth, parent’s names, and details about your current occupation and previous criminal convictions. You’ll also need to provide a valid passport that is good for at least three months. ETIAS says the application will be processed in seconds, and the decision will be sent to the applicant within four days. However, that could be longer if you’re asked for additional information or the application is denied, and you must appeal. To play it safe, apply at least a month in advance, if not longer.
please join us in celebrating in black-tie attire. Formal gowns and black tuxedos are kindly requested to complement our elegant evening in Tuscany. you can refer to the attire page for Inspo!!
We only ask for you to be available for our welcome dinner, and our wedding day, otherwise you are free to explore Tuscany as much as you'd like! We'd recommend trying the local cuisine, drinking cocktails/wine, getting on a boat or lounging at the beach. If possible, make reservations for boats, restaurants, and activities a few months BEFORE your trip. Check out our Travel Tips page for our restaurant and activity recommendations!
The national currency in Italy is Euros. We recommend getting some Euros when you land in Italy. Though most places will accept Mastercard/Visa's just make sure you've let your bank know you're traveling and understand the expectations of foreign transaction fees
Expect a typical daytime high of 25℃ (77℉), and a low of 12℃ (53℉) overnight.
Ciao! - Hi/bye (Informal) Buon Giorno - Good morning/Good day Arrivederici - Goodbye (Formal) Mi Chiamo - My name is ... Parla Inglese? - Do you speak English? Mi Dispiace - I'm sorry Salute! - Cheers Dov'è il bagno? - Where is the bathroom?
Don't forget to pack these essentials: - Passports (note, expiration date cannot be within 6 months of your return to the US) - Adapters for charging phones - If you are bringing a blow dryer, curler or hair straightener we would recommend bringing a voltage adapter (US & EU voltages are different) - Crossbody bag with a zipper, that you can put in front of you (pick pocketing is big in touristy locations) - We'd recommend downloading google translate on your phone - though most tourist spots will have English menus & servers that speak English - We also recommend downloading Waze and Whatsapp to your phone for ease of getting around and communicating with others who don't have an international phone plan
Please look to your Save the Date and invitation envelope which will indicate "and guest" or the name of your plus-one if you have one.
We are so appreciative of our friends and families celebrating with us in Tuscany. While the presence of your company is the only gift we could ask for, a registry has been set under the registry tab. (coming soon!!)
