Bride
Christi is the spreadsheet queen, the overly sentimental one (seriously, she cries at commercials), and the one most likely to have planned every detail of this wedding. She’s a deep-feeler with a love for dogs and Broadway, and has a firm belief that a well-organized Google Doc can solve most of life’s problems. While Sarah makes friends everywhere she goes, Christi’s circle is a little smaller—but fiercely protected. She’s the calm in the chaos, the heart behind the humor, and the reason this whole day is somehow both beautiful and perfectly timed.
Bride
Sarah is the social butterfly and the reason half the guest list includes people who now feel like family. She has a heart the size of Wisconsin and would drop anything to help a friend—even one she just met. She’s generous, occasionally immature, and always down for an adventure. Where Christi brings the plans, Sarah brings the people—and together, they’ve made something pretty incredible
Matron of Honor
Jayne and Christi have been friends since High School; lovingly calling each other "bestie" as a nod to one of their shared favorite shows: Big Bang Theory. Jayne is kind, silly, and the social director of their group of friends (without Jayne, there would be no get-togethers). The two of them share a love of animal memes, 90's and early 2000's pop and hip-hop, morning Starbucks after dropping their children off at school, and Captain and Diets. Their dream is to own some sort of business together someday. For today, they'll see you on the dance floor.
Man of Honor
Sarah's brother. The only one in our wedding party that cried when we asked him to be a part of it. He understood the assignment. He is a teddy bear of a man, both physically and emotionally. Ben is a trivia wiz, a skilled public speaker, and loves Dolly Parton and The Golden Girls almost as much as his 6 children. He is the sole bother out of four siblings and has 5 daughters out of 6 children so his presence in a heavily female wedding party is nothing out of the norm for him.
Bridesmaid
Married to Christi's brother, Sam is adored by both of the brides. She is the best Auntie to their two kids, the most calming presence to counter-act Christi's anxious nature and a big sounding board for the wedding planning process. The brides are honored to have her in their life, and walking down the isle with them.
Bridesman
Christi's brother. The humor in their life and the male figure their son looks up to most. Mikey and Christi can often be found arguing over some sort of news event - Christi typically loses and Mikey and Sarah have a shared connection in running and using their hands to build things. They are honored he said "yes" to standing beside them.
Bridesmaid
Brides' sister-in-law, married to Sarah's sister. Nicole is the gentlest soul the brides have the pleasure of knowing. Working in end-of-life care and preaching for the ELCA church on the side, Nicole devotes her life to others. And she gives the best hugs - we encourage everyone to try it out during the wedding. You won't regret it. Nicole is a practical voice in a massive family like the brides'. She is often a go-to for advice and the brides are ecstatic to have her walking with them.
Matron of Honor
Aunti Nicki, Sarah's sister and honorary Matron of Honor. Nicki is the fun-loving sister everyone wants around. Her laugh is infectious, her dance moves are unforgettable, and her love of family is fierce. She fights for those she loves - hard. She is the true matriarch of the Behnke siblings. Her signature "Cherry Bombs" yell can be heard near and far. If you want to hear it, we encourage you to attend the after party with her.
Bridesmaid
Christi's cousin - her first "bestie". Bridget and Christi have been close since Bridget was an infant. Christi babysat often and the two of them traveled often together. As they got older, Christi was a safe place for Bridget to land during rough days in college and Christi stood proudly beside Bridget at her own wedding. Now moms, the two of them spend their days dreaming of trips they can't afford and looking for the next excuse to drink fancy champagne together.
Bridesmaid
Kelly has been to Sarah and Christi: a teammate, a nanny, a roommate, an auto repair service liaison, and most importantly...a beloved friend. Kelly is smart, loyal and an old soul to counteract Sarah's inherently playful nature. She was the first person we asked to be in our wedding...and the first person to say "yes". WE LOVE YOU DIE-E!
Bridesmaid
Christi's cousin. Carol is the namesake of Christi's mom, Carol, and is the JOY in the brides' lives. Carol is upbeat, caring, and attentive and is quite possibly the coolest person that the brides know. She is draw-droppingly beautiful and will likely upstage both of the brides but they don't mind...they're just honored to have her there with them.
Bridesmaid
Sarah's Goddaughter and the brides' niece. She keeps them young and "cool". Aaliyah is a lover of family, a lover of travel, and a lover of her English Mastiff (who the brides would steal in a heartbeat).
Bridesmaid
Shelly is Sarah's sister and the wittiest of the bunch. As a typical middle child, Shelly loves the spotlight and has a big, bright personality that you'll be instantly drawn to, fittingly.
Bridesmaid
Brides' sister-in-law, married to Sarah's brother. Amy is caring, forgiving, and gives the best words of wisdom. She is queen teacher: teaching her 6 babies, teaching music at her school, and teaching the brides the art of patience. Amy has the voice and heart of an angel and they look forward to hearing her belt it out on the dance floor.
Bridesman
The brides' son. Anderson is shy but incredibly witty, making Christi and Sarah laugh daily. He is thoughtful, respectful and sensitive. When he's not playing sports or "cooking" while playing video games, he's usually making fun of Christi for trying to say things like "cooking", in the Gen-Z context. We can't promise a smile as he walks down the isle but we can assure you he WANTS to be there.
Flower Girl
Brides' daughter. The spunky, sassy, full of life 7 year old. Millie is a planner like her mommy, an athlete like her mama, and a lover of family like the both of them. Amelia has been planning this wedding along side Christi for the last two years and can't wait for it to finally be here.
Tiny Attendants
Nieces, nephews and our favorite tiny humans.
