Question

How do I get to the venue? Please note: There is no parking at the venue

Answer

We will be running a shuttle from our house (4459 W. 30th Ave Denver CO 80212), departing at 3:30pm and leaving from the venue a bit after 10pm. The venue is ~30 minute away. Our house will be stocked with snacks, drinks, and night caps. We are central to Denver for folks looking to explore Denver’s nightlife

Question

What’s the weather going to be like?

Answer

Welcome to Colorful Colorado! It could be in the mid 80s during the day and the low 60s in the evening. The venue’s heated porch where dinner will be held is covered and has a series of heaters. Please be prepared for varying weather. We will monitor and update here

Question

What kind of food and beverages will be served at the venue?

Answer

During Cocktail hour, we'll keep it fancy with charcuterie boards galore as well as heartier bites from Steuben’s such as deviled eggs, chicken wings, and surprise snacks. For dinner we are renting out Steuben's Food Truck - which will serve classic elevated diner food such as burgers, fried chicken, shrimp po boy and a mushroom cheesesteak as well as side dishes like Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and fries. If you have any dietary concerns, please reach out to us before hand so we can accommodate! Dessert will feature Voodoo donuts, brownies, cookies, and assorted sweets. There will be a full open bar with a selection of Colorado beers, wines, and liquors.

Question

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

While we are not hosting a rehearsal dinner, we’d like to invite any of our out of state guests to a welcome dinner at the Wright Room on 9/22/23 at 6:30pm.

Question

What the heck is Alpine Garden attire?

Answer

Maybe it’s a bolo tie, perhaps it’s some cowboy boots with your great grandmother’s favorite dress. Dress as if you’re going to play croquet in the mountains. All jokes aside, we want you to be comfortable! We suggest against wearing high heeled shoes as there is a short walk to the ceremony site. Please note, the weather can shift quite a bit throughout the day.

Question

What time does the party officially stop?

Answer

Quiet hours begin at 10pm, and the party officially ends at 10:30pm. The shuttle will leave shortly after 10pm making a brief stop before returning to Denver (our home). We are going to fill the house with a wide array of snacks and drinks, we’d love for you to make yourself at home! Please see the website’s “Things To Do” section if you’re looking to explore Denver’s nightlife.

Question

Word on the street is there will be a second wedding ceremony that day...is it true?

Answer

Yes, we will also be celebrating the matrimony of Huckleberry and his blushing bride to be, Spotty...after a few drinks and burgers of course.

Question

What do I do if I miss or can’t make the shuttle from Denver?

Answer

Uber and Lyft will be able to drop you off at the venue.

For all the days along the way
