The church is taking precautions and has strict gathering limits. At this time we are only able to accommodate immediate family (grandparents, parents and siblings) for our formal exchange of vows.
We have shifted plans to a casual backyard celebration. Please feel free to bring your children if you’re unable to secure child care.
We will have a food truck catering the event who will be able to accommodate allergies. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have dietary restrictions.
We kindly ask you turn off all cameras and phones during the ceremony to be fully present. We have an AMAZING photographer and will share those pictures with you.
Our original hotel block is no longer available. With various travel restrictions impacting hotel offerings we recommend Airbnb or reaching out to hotels directly. We’re happy to give you some ideas if you can’t find anything that meets your needs.
In order to provide as safe an environment as possible, the majority of the the celebration will be outside. Please dress comfortably for the weather. Ladies, there is lots of grass so wedges or flats are your best bet.
We are doing our best to balance guidance from the CDC and the comfort of our guests. We have taken several precautions in light of the pandemic including staggering our guests in groups of about 30, having all food and beverage items served by our amazing vendor team, allowing room to socially distance outside, plenty of hand sanitizer in areas that may be shared, and disinfecting throughout.
The current phase 2 extension expires the day of our event, we’ve noted NC positive case counts have been decreasing over the last three weeks and are hopeful Phase 3 will begin Sept 11. Our current staggered structure includes groups of 25-30 at a given time with both indoor and outdoor space.
